Save Derivative

This item is found on the Save Menu.

The defined Derivative, using the current method of calculation, at the current sampling interval and range, is saved to file as (t, f'(t)) pairs, separated by a comma. The first number is the value of t and the second value is its derivative value. This file is suitable for loading again via the Open Command. The file may also be edited using a text editor or may be inserted into other documents.

The file is saved to the folder defined by the environment variable 'Environment.SpecialFolder.LocalApplicationData'. The exact location will depend on your system but a message box will display the location and the file name used after the save.
