# Maximum value

Use plotXpose to solve the maximum area problem given in Example 11.5 on page 242 of Mathematics for Electrical Engineering and Computing. Plot the graph of y(t)=200*t-t^2 for 0<=t<400 and a sampling interval of 0.05. (We are using t here to represent the length b of the field).

Reset the y-axis range to look closely at the derivative and use the display position mode to find the value of t where the derivative is 0.
