Entering Numbers

To insert numbers pi or e on a General Function definition tap the E or PI button on the Define Function window.

To enter a general constant tap in the underlined space next to the E and PI buttons and the number keypad will appear. When you have entered your constant tap the enter key.

The minus sign entered with a constant is always regarded by plotXpose as forming a part of the constant definition. If you enter the constant -3 and raise this to the power 2 although this will be displayed as -3^2 in the function definition it will be interpreted as (-3)^2. To avoid confusion, in these cases, it is preferable to insert brackets around the constant yourself.
