That’s odd

Home > All Problems > That’s odd

Look at a few graphs of odd functions e.g. y=t , y=sin(t), y=t^3, y=t^5, y=sinh(t) (use sinh(t)=0.5*(e^t-e^(-1*t)) and analyse the symmetry of the derivative. Write down the Maclaurin series for a general, odd, function defined around t=0 and use this to justify your conclusion.
