Using the rectangular to polar conversion facility on your calculator express y(t)=4*sin(3*pi*t)-2*cos(3*pi*t) as a single cosine term.
Plot the graph of y(t) and check that the Frequency tab, displaying amplitude, phase, real and imaginary values, gives the expected result.
